Reset a user password

To send a password reset link:

1. Go to the member’s User Profile (it’s related to, but different than, the Member Profile):
   • From PMPro’s Members panel, hover over the member’s name and select Edit User.
   • From the sidebar, select All Users, find the User, and select Edit.
2. About halfway down the page, select Send Reset Link. This emails a password reset link to the user.

You can also manually change the password in the User Profile  (the button is just above the Send Reset Link button. This isn’t recommended because then the password is not private. I’ve used it very occasionally for people with vision challenges who found the reset process onerous.
