As a member of Cosburn Park Lawn Bowling Club, you have the opportunity to compete in Open Tournaments at clubs across Ontario. Membership at Cosburn Park includes automatic membership in the Ontario Lawn Bowling Association (OLBA) β which means:

You can enter Open Tournaments at any lawn bowling club across Ontario.

You are part of a broader community of bowlers with access to events, competitions, and learning opportunities.
π Tournament Formats
While tournament formats vary, most follow a similar structure to those hosted at our club:

Number of Games: 3 games

Ends per Game: 12 ends

Start Time: 9:30 AM

End Time: Around 4:00 PM

Breaks: Short break after Game 1, lunch after Game 2

Most tournaments require one entry per team, except:

For these events, individual entries are accepted. Teams are assembled by the drawmaster to ensure balance.
In-Club Trebles Tournament

You enter as an individual.

Teams are formed by the Tournament Chair and organizing committee.

Format: 3 games of 10 ends each.
π‘ The Novice Open Trebles is ideal for new bowlers β with cash prizes and a chance to win a $500 gift certificate towards your own set of bowls!

Entry Fee: Approximately $20 per bowler

Prizes: Cash prizes for top 5β6 teams

Equipment: No bowls? No problem! You can borrow a set from Cosburn Park.
